Croft Taylor VE3CT SK

With deepest regret we announce the loss on November 17 of Croft Taylor VE3CT by heart attack in hospital at Jacksonville, Florida enroute to his winter home. He did not feel well in the car and motel and drove to a nearby hospital. He was taken by helicopter to a Jacksonville hospital about 1:30 AM, and passed away thirteen hours later. His son Michael arrived from Toronto two hours later. He was able to drive Croft's car, Elizabeth and their dog over to their home on the west coast of Florida. This announcement has been delayed due to the complexities of funeral arrangements.

There will be a private family-only funeral next week with his three children and the grandchildren. As Croft was a retired military officer, burial will be in the military section of Beechwood Cemetery in Ottawa.

After Elizabeth is able to travel back to Ottawa in the spring there will be a public Memorial Service here.

In the meantime, Elizabeth remains at their home so condolences may be sent to 2089 Timucua Trail, Nokomis, USA FL 34275-5304
