Next Meeting

The Ottawa Amateur Radio Club's next meeting will be held Wednesday, March, 14, 2012 at 7:30pm in the Colonel By Room of Ottawa City Hall on Lisgar st. on the second floor.

The speaker for the March meeting will be one of our own Wayne Getchell,VE3CZO Wayne's topic will be A Recipe for Rapid Printed Circuit Board Prototyping.

Regular Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month, at 19:30L (except July and August).

We meet at Ottawa City Hall, formerly RMOC headquarters on Lisgar st. on the second floor.

Mike Kelly, VE3FFK appointed to the National Field Organization Secretariat

RAC Bulletin 2011-016E - Mike Kelly, VE3FFK appointed to the National Field Organization Secretariat 2011-06-21

I am very pleased to introduce the latest addition to the RAC National Field Organization Secretariat. Mike Kelly VE3FFK joins us as EP Canada Advisor. With a wealth of Emergency Preparedness knowledge and experiance, he will be a much needed presence in the Ottawa area in dealing with both the Federal and Provincial governments on matters relating to Wireless Radio Interoperability.

Mike has had a long standing relationship with the Canadian Emergency Management College and is the "go to" guy to be registered for their training programs. Mike is also a regular volunteer at RAC HQ in Ottawa.
