The OARC participates in the annual field day sponsored by the RAC in conjunction with the ARRL. The club treats this as a social event more than a serious contest and the effort is low-key. This is a great time to come out to have some fun!

Members are reminded that executive meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month, and are open to members. Contact the executive for details.

Regular Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month, at 19:30L (except July and August).

We meet at Ottawa City Hall, formerly RMOC headquarters on Lisgar st. on the second floor.

Field Day 2011

Location: 175 Main Street, Ottawa

(Behind and slightly north of St. Paul University)
Date: June 25, 26 2011
Setup time: 10:00AM (local) Saturday
Contest time: 2pm Saturday to 2pm Sunday. (local)
We ran a 2A - One CW and one phone station on HF, and run a 6m/2m/70cm station.
